The logo ready, the next step was to recruit an
actor and an actress. The website 'Star Now' was chosen, to make a
casting call sheet for potential actors and actresses.
An advertisement was created for the project. The
advertisement was titled 'Male & Female Actor required for Short
Uni Film - 2 to 3 Minutes'. A description of the basis for the film
was given, the details, as well as what was required from both the
actor and actress, including phone numbers and photographs so the
group had a selection.
When the actors and actresses had applied, the
group chose the actor and actress. They were then promptly emailed
regarding the short film, so that the script, location and costume
allocation could be given to them:
Once the defined time, date and location was
confirmed with our actor and actress, the group could finalise the
storyboards and shot lists.
